Even in the early stages of our partnership, Shared Financial Services has made a meaningful impact on our organization and improved our financial systems. Their team brought clarity and confidence to our financial processes—guiding us through reporting requirements and helping us strengthen our internal systems. As a small nonprofit, having a knowledgeable partner who understands what questions to ask—and when—has been invaluable. With their expertise, our team is able to stay focused on what matters most: supporting artists and communities across our region.

Working with Shared Financial Services has been greatly beneficial to our organization. Each SFS team member in their respective role has worked to fully understand our organization and its needs, guided and pivoted as we have worked together to establish and fine-tune our accounting systems, processes, and practices. Our growing organization has a number of complexities that otherwise would be very difficult to manage and report on given our internal capacities; SFS is diligent in its efforts with making this work for us. Aurora, Stewart, Terri, and Ever are professional, knowledgeable, helpful, easygoing, and answer our questions clearly and fully - I wish they all could be a permanent part of our team! 

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Stewart and the Shared Financial Services team.  They have raised the professionalism and sophistication in our financial and bookkeeping services. They set up new processes and systems, and they helped work through the small glitches and concerns as we did so.   Everyone on the team is personable and very responsive to my communications and questions. 

The Mon Water Project was in a very transitional state when we reached out to Shared Financial Resources. As an organization, we were pretty complicated- a non-profit with two fiscal sponsors, three different grants spread across different accounts, all managed by a single contracted employee. Shared Financial Resources helped us grow and professionalize our operations. Honestly, it was incredibly painless for me, as an exhausted founder and director. They set up vital financial infrastructure that focused on financial transparency, detailed documentation, and fluid management of our books. I will never forget the embarrassment of sharing my BEAST of an internal-spreadsheet-financial-management monster of death system.  It tracked every penny, but it was a painful management system that just wasn't sustainable. I was really struggling. Now our books are compiled, reviewed, balanced, and monitored, and our organization has a new partnership with SFS that will help with whatever comes next for our organization.
